The 1st annual Paul Fortugno Memorial Polo Tournament took over the fields of the Wagener Polo Club in Wagener, S.C., October 14 - 25, 2009. It attracted four competitive 6-goal teams. The tournament honors the memory of Paul Fortugno who passed away in 2007. He played on his family’s Mallet Hill team with his brother Gene and father, Fred.
The tournament format had all teams play one another. The teams having the two best records faced off in the finals; namely, Polo Cops and Team Tandem (Paul Shealy, Pam Gleason, Billy Raab, Gabriel Caro.) The Tandem team came to the finals undefeated, and emerged the victors, after four hard-fought chukkers. Trophies were presented by Fred Fortugno along with son Gene, and his two daughters.

Arthrodynamic was please to be the main sponsor at Dressage at The Preserve show in Eastern, NC held October 10, 2009. Awards for Grand Champion and Reserve Champion (Tandem Oral), plus a dressage show pad featuring Tandem’s embroidered logo were presented to each winner. Show pads for each 1st place winner were also provided. The competitors were excited for the opportunity to compete for these prizes. There was perfect weather for the show and along with competitors; a large number of trainers, family and friends came out in support. |
Since 1973, this event has honored the memory of cowboy & businessman Windy Ryon. His Saddle Shop & Western Store in the Fort Worth Stockyards was a gathering place for cowboys, ranch and rodeo hands alike.
Arthrodynamic Technologies was proud to be associated with the 36th Annual Roping Event in May 2009. It showcases the world’s top professional rodeo competitors in championship calf roping, steer roping, steer wrestling and team roping. The event commits its efforts and profits to charities and has contributed nearly a half million dollars to various organizations that benefit young men and women.
